Saturday’s field hockey slate brought major shifts to the Class 5A poll as 3 teams broke into the top 10.

Big movers in the rankings

• St. Mary’s Academy (2-0-0) moved up 10 spots to claim No. 1 in Class 5A.
• Palmer Ridge climbed 7 spots to enter the rankings at No. 6 with a 1-1-0 record.
• Cheyenne Mountain jumped 7 spots to take the No. 8 ranking.
