The Colorado High School Activities Association has released the agenda for the fourth-annual Women in Leadership Conference set for Thursday at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater.

NFHS Releases National Participation Data, Showing Growth for Fifth Consecutive Year

Led by the continual growth of girls flag football and girls wrestling, participation in high school sports increased for the fifth consecutive year in 2025-26 and set another all-time record.

Denver Broncos Coach of the Week for Flag Football

AURORA – The Denver Broncos will continue its tradition of honoring a high school coach of the week for both flag and tackle football for the 2026 season, while it will also partner with the NFHS to name a Crew of the Month for the first time this season. The week’s honoree is: Week 1 – Flag Football: Blaine Voth, Berthoud Week 1 – Tackle Football: Coming Sept. 2 Month 1 – Crew of the Month: Coming Sept. 16 Each selected coach receives a monetary donation from the NFL Foundation for their high school football program, while each coach and member of the officiating crew will be invited to attend a Broncos home game so they can be honored on the field. To nominate a coach, athletic directors should use this form.
