The Colorado High School Activities Association hosted its fourth annual Women in Leadership Conference on Thursday, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison.

Denver Broncos Football Coaches of the Week

AURORA – The Denver Broncos will continue its tradition of honoring a high school coach of the week for both flag and tackle football for the 2026 season, while it will also partner with the NFHS to name a Crew of the Month for the first time this season. The week’s honoree is: Week 1 – Flag Football: Blaine Voth, Berthoud Week 1 – Tackle Football: Coming Sept. 2 Month 1 – Crew of the Month: Coming Sept. 16 Each selected coach receives a monetary donation from the NFL Foundation for their high school football program, while each coach and member of the officiating crew will be invited to attend a Broncos home game so they can be honored on the field. To nominate a coach, athletic directors should use this form.

Gymnastics Weekly: Mountain Range and Niwot Lead Strong Slate of Team Performances

Mountain Range and Niwot posted impressive team totals this past week, while Cherry Creek narrowly edged Elizabeth by 0.225 points. Looking ahead, Arvada West’s Layla Petz enters upcoming action holding the state’s No. 1 all-around score of 38.75.
