AURORA — The Colorado High School Activities Association will host its Boys and Girls Basketball Great 8 for the 6A classification at the Denver Coliseum this Thursday, Feb. 29.
Winners will advance to next week’s Final Four at the Denver Coliseum. All girls and boys Great 8 games for 6A will be played on Feb. 29, with the 5A boys and girls Great 8 games played on Friday, March 1 and the 4A boys and girls Great 8 games will be on Saturday, March 2.
The schedule for 6A boys and girls Great 8 games can be found below:
- 6A Girls – No. 3 Legend vs. No. 6 Horizon: Legend wins, 62-35 (will advance to face Regis Jesuit)
- 6A Boys – No. 4 ThunderRidge vs. No. 5 Rock Canyon: ThunderRidge wins, 62-60 (OT) (will advance to face the winner of Fruita Monument vs. Eaglecrest)
- 6A Girls – No. 4 Valor Christian vs. No. 12 Rock Canyon: Valor Christian wins, 60-44 (will advance to face Cherokee Trail)
- 6A Boys – No. 3 Chaparral vs. No. 6 Valor Christian: Valor Christian wins, 66-46 (will advance to face Smoky Hill)

- 6A Girls – No. 1 Cherokee Trail vs. No. 9 Mullen: Cherokee Trail wins, 47-39 (will advance to face Valor Christian)
