10 teams, 140 individuals, 45 relay teams crowned track and field state champions

LAKEWOOD – All 10 team state champions were crowned on the final day of the 2023 Colorado State High School Activities Association track and field state championships Saturday afternoon at Jeffco Stadium. In addition, CHSAA awarded 140 individual champions and recognized 45 relay teams as champions over the course of the three days. 

“The track and field state championships are always one of my favorite weekends of the year, and this year was no different” CHSAA Assistant Commissioner for Track and Field Jenn Roberts-Uhlig said. “It was an amazing weekend of student-athletes doing their thing, showcasing their talents, setting new PRs and breaking records in both running and field events. It’s just an exciting three days.

“Thank you to all of the volunteers, officials, facility management and coaches for creating such an amazing experience for students across the state of Colorado.”
