Live results for all events are available on CHSAANow as they finish: 2023 CHSAA State Meet live results (link will go live Thursday morning).
The meet kicks off on Thursday, May 18, continues on Friday, May 19, and concludes on Saturday, May 20. Individual event champions will be crowned every day with the team champions being awarded on Saturday following the final event.
The gates open at 7:15 a.m. every day.
The meet is being held at Jefferson County Stadium, which is at 500 Kipling St. in Lakewood.
Parking is free of charge, and security staff will be on site to direct vehicles to designated lots on the west and north side of the stadium. Handicap parking will be located on the east side of the stadium. Vehicles parked in non-designated areas will be ticketed and towed.
All media will check in on the north east side (competitors’ entrance) to get their credentials.
Events begin at varying times each morning — 8 a.m. on Thursday, 8:20 a.m. on Friday, and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday — and run into the evening.
The official schedule of events lists when each specific event is slated to be held.
On Thursday, 4A and 5A will be in the morning session, with 1A, 2A and 3A in the afternoon session. On Friday and Saturday, all classes are mixed in together throughout the day, grouped by events.
Saturday’s schedule includes a graduation ceremony at 12:30 p.m. for athletes who are unable to attend their school’s graduation event while participating in the state meet.
