Green Mountain girls soccer hires John Barone as coach

John Barone has been hired as the girls soccer coach at Green Mountain High School, athletic director Tommy Dodge told CHSAA in an email.

Last season, under Ken Fehr, the Rams advanced to the Class 4A state semifinals where they lost to Cheyenne Mountain 1-0.

Cheyenne Mountain went on to defeat Broomfield 1-0 in the 4A state title game.

“We are very excited for the future of our soccer programs at GM,” Dodge said in the email.
