AURORA - The first round of the of the 2026 CHSAA 1A Girls State Tournament started Thursday, with games played at the Caliche, Eads and Prairie regionals. The remainder of the first round, as well as second-round play from Thursday's regionals, will take place Friday. All games are being played at the home site of a top-eight seed.
Saturday's winners will advance to the Great 8, which will be played at the University of Northern Colorado's Bank of Colorado Arena next Thursday.
