AURORA — The seeding data for the state basketball tournaments in classes 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A have been finalized. Those boys and girls brackets will be unveiled later Sunday.

The brackets will be seeded using the following criteria:
League champions earn an automatic berth in the playoffs as long as they win their league outright. Each league must have a minimum of 5 teams in it for an automatic berth.
Seeds 1-8 are true seeded and they will host regionals. Seeds 9-16 are true seeded except to try and avoid league matchups in the first round only. Teams may be moved one spot up or down. Seeds 17-32 may be moved up to two spots based upon geography and league matchups.
