Skiing: Alpine State Championships Set For Wednesday, Thursday in Vail

AURORA – The 2026 Colorado High School Activities Association’s Alpine State Championships will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Golden Peak area of Vail Ski Resort in Vail.
Wedneday’s race schedule will feature the Giant Slalom races, while Slalom will take place on Thursday. The first run will be at 9:30 a.m. both days, with the second run at 12:45 p.m. The girls will go first, followed by the boys. Awards will be given following the conclusion of Thursday’s races, tentatively scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for $25 per day. Parent lift tickets are $100 and are available for purchase at registration Tuesday night or from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on race days.
Parking is available at nearby structures, and daily fees apply.
