AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released its preseason coaches' polls for boys soccer.
Three of the four state champions from last year were picked in the top spot of this season's preseason poll, as Cherry Creek was atop the 5A poll, Air Academy the 4A poll and Forge Christian the 2A poll. In 3A, Colorado Academy was picked in the No. 1 spot, while Holy Family, the defending state champion, checked in third.
Boys soccer games can start next Thursday, Aug. 21, with the state championships set for Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Switchbacks' Weidner Field.
