DENVER — The 2025 Colorado High School State Wrestling Tournament continues at Ball Arena on Friday with three consolation rounds and the semifinals of both the boys and girls events.

There are a number of returning champions, as well as unbeaten wrestlers, heading into the 2025 tournament.

5A Girls 120 Semifinal Update
Amaya Hinojosa (43-1) of Widefield won 11-3 to advance to tomorrow's final, where she'll face Remington Zimmerer (40-3) of Regis Jesuit, a 12-8 winner.
5A Boys 120 Semifinal Update
Semifinal winners were Cooper Mathews (48-4) of Cherokee Trail by technical fall (17-2) in 3:11, and Ian Bacon (45-7) of Vista Peak, who won 11-6.
Mathews was state champion at 106 last year.
Boys 4A-120 Semifinals: Harrison to Face Young
Undefeated Mountain View Senior Isaiah Harrison took home his 52nd victory, pinning Air Academy's Aleq Countryman in 43 seconds. He will face Palisade junior Teagan Young, who beat Roosevelt's Kash Long in a 7-3 decision.
Harrison is chasing his third-straight championship, winning the 4A-106 (2023) and 4A-113 (2024) prior.
Long is chasing his first.
4A Girls 115 Semifinal Update
Gizelle Meraz of Alamosa (45-5) won by fall (1:52), as did Ivey McAlhany (32-13) of Walsenburg (in 32 seconds), setting up tomorrow's final.
Boys 3A-120 Semifinals: Gamez to Face Drozdik
La Junta sophomore Jordan Gamez beat Holy Family's Lorenzo Trujillo in a 15-5 major decision. He will face Delta senior Dawsen Drozdik, who pinned Alamosa's Pablito Rodriguez in 4:31.
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
5A Girls 115 Semifinal Update
Staying unbeaten (45-0) was Jaydin Cuevas of Prairie View, with her third win by fall (2:32).
In tomorrow's final, she'll face Phoebe Gutierrez (30-2) of Adams City, a 9-7 semifinal winner.
Boys 2A-120 Semifinal: Martinez to Face Valdez
Cedaredge Sophomore Cash Martinez beat Highland's Korbin Hoke in a 9-4 decision. He will face Swink's Thomas Valdez, who beat Rangley's Aydan Christian by sudden victory (7-4).
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
4A Girls 110 Semifinal Update
Ariyah Alvarado (43-7) of Skyview won by major decision (14-0), and Velma Bailey (35-1) of North Fork won by fall (1:37) to set up tomorrow's final.
Boys 4A-113 Semifinal: Amaro to Face Vombaur
Pueblo East Senior Manuel Amaro beat Thornton's Dominic Pacheco in a 16-2 major decision, while Severence Sophomore Drake Vombaur pinned Pueblo County's Israel Trujillo to advance.
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
5A Girls 110 Semifinal Update
It will be an all-freshman final, as winning by fall were Renee Hudson (41-5) of Mead (1:48) and Saydee Lussenhop (45-3) of Loveland (in 3:47).
Boys 3A-113 Semifinal: Hawkins to Face Meder
Eaton junior Blake Hawkins beat Wellington's Benjamin Gomez by technical fall (20-3) at the 4:58 mark, while Alamosa Sophomore Anthony Eug Meder pinned Gunnison's Damyon Funk in 1:13.
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
5A Boys 113 Update
Kel Unrein (42-7) of Fruita Monument advances to the final with a close 4-3 victory over Ethan Brown of Broomfield.
In tomorrow's championship, he'll face JR Ortega of Grandview, a 12-4 semifinal winner.
Boys 2A-113 Semifinals: Buford to Face Jaramillo
Crowley County Junior Derreck Buford pinned Center Sophomore Michael Archuleta in 3:44. Delores Huerta Prep senior AJ Jaramillo narrowly ousted Roaring Fork's Anthony Franco in a 7-5 decision.
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
5A Girls 105 Update
2023 champion (one class, 100) Katey Valdez of Doherty improved to 42-1 with her third straight win by fall (in 27 seconds) to advance to tomorrow's final. Valdez has recorded three falls in a total of 90 seconds at state.
She'll face Lola Gonzales (42-7) of Chatfield, a 16-2 winner in the semifinals.
Boys 4A-106 Semifinal: Romero to Face Pino
Greeley Central Junior will take on Sand Creek Tristan Pino in the championship round. Romero beat Air Academy's Jaden Amenta in an 18-6 major decision, while Pino beat Riverdale Ridge's Zandon Ness by technical fall (19-3) at the 4:25 mark.
Both boys are chasing their first championship.
4A Girls 105 Semifinal Update
Freshman Piper Montoya (34-1) records her third straight win by fall (in 1:02) to advance to the final.
Tomorrow she'll face freshman Emma Faczak (44-3) of Bennett, who won by technical fall (17-2) in 2:27.
Boys 3A-106 Semifinals: DelaCerDa to Face Salazar for Championship
Alamosa Junior Jeremiah DeLaCerda will take on Centauri Senior Matthew Salazar for the highest spot on the podium.
Salazar pinned Skyview's Andrew Pedregon in 1:55 to advance, while DeLaCerda won his third match in a row by technical fall (19-3) against Pagosa Spring's Anthony Manzanares at the 5:10 mark.
Both boys are battling for their first state championship.
5A Boys 106 Semifinal Update
Freshman Lincoln Valdez (36-4) of Pomona advances to the final, winning by technical fall (19-3) in 5:18.
He'll face Emmett Alexander (47-7) of ThunderRidge, who defeated Synscere Garcia of Denver East, 7-3, in tomorrow's final.
5A Girls 100 Update
Sophomore Justice Gutierrez of Pomona, the one-class state champion at 100 last year, stays unbeaten (41-0) after winning by fall in 50 seconds.
In tomorrow's final she'll face freshman Vivienne Arellano (38-8) of Widefield, a 4-1 (SV) winner over Lilly Lundy of Lewis-Palmer.
Boys 2A-106 Semifinals: Roberts, Gonzales clash for first
Freshman Sedgwick County/Fleming's Nathan Gonzales is set to face Junior Cedaredge's Jared Roberts in the first place match. Robert's beat Roaring Fork's Emilio Vallejos by technical fall (18-3) at the 5:18 mark. Gonzales beat Fowler's Stockton Sharon in a 22-13 major decision.
Both Roberts and Gonzales would be first time champions.
