AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association has announced the brackets for the 3A, 4A and 5A Softball State Championships Round of 16. All games will be played this Friday and Saturday at the Aurora Sports Park.
Championship play will begin with the first and quarterfinal round games on Friday, with the semifinals and finals taking place on Saturday. First-round games will begin at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., followed by the quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Saturday’s semifinals will start at 10 a.m., with the championship games at 1 p.m. (3A) and 1:30 p.m. (4A and 5A). All games in the Round of 16 will be played at the Aurora Sports Park. Class 3A is on Complex A, 4A on Complex C and 5A on Complex B. See map of Aurora Sports Park.
Important Reminders:
- Aurora Sports Park has specific rules that include: no glass bottles and no pets are allowed. The ASP Food Vendors will be available throughout the tournament.
- Most games can be watched live on the NFHS Network.
- Due to CHSAA’s Postseason Rights Agreements with the NFHS Network, streaming outside of that platform is prohibited unless a broadcast agreement form has been submitted to and approved by CHSAA. That means that streaming any games through GameChanger, Facebook Live, YouTube, Hudl, etc., is not allowed without prior approval and paying a rights fee to CHSAA. For those interested in streaming but do not want to pay the fee, there are alternative options (ie – Broadcast Me and/orStreamLabs). - Note: the NFHS Network will be on site on Saturday to provide manual streams of all semifinals and finals. Therefore, NO LIVE STREAM WILL BE PERMITTED ON ANY PLATFORM on Saturday.
- All tickets to the state championships are digital and can be purchased through GoFan. Cell service and wifi is limited at Aurora Sports Park, so it is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance.
