Girls Soccer: Brackets Released for State Championships

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association has released the brackets for the Girls Soccer State Championships.
The 24-team 2A tournament and 32-team tournaments for 3A, 4A and 5A will each feature a single-elimination bracket. The first round will begin on Tuesday for 5A, Wednesday for 2A and 4A, and Thursday for 3A. Second round games will be played for 5A on Friday, while 2A, 3A and 4A will play its second round on Saturday.
The 5A quarterfinal games will be played at Englewood High School on Monday, May 12, with 3A and 4A quarterfinals being played at home sites on Wednesday, May 13 and 2A at at home sites on Thursday, May 14.
The semifinal rounds will be played on Thursday, May 15 for 3A, 4A and 5A, with the 3A games at North Area Athletic Complex, 4A at Trailblazer Stadium at 5A at University of Denver’s CIBER Field. The 2A semifinals will be on Friday, May 17 at DPS All-City Stadium.
All four finals will be played at the Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs. The 3A Championship will be at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, May 20, followed by the 4A Championship at 8 p.m. The 2A Championship will be the following day, Wednesday, May 21, at 5 p.m., followed by the 5A Championship at 8 p.m.
