Boys Basketball: State Champions Crowned on Final Day of Tournament

DENVER – All six of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s state champions were crowned Saturday on the final day of the 2025 Boys Basketball State Championship Tournaments.
There was one first-time champion, one second-time champion and four third-time winners. Windsor captured the 5A crown for its first boys basketball state title in more than 100 years — the school won it all in both 1923 and 1924. Resurrection Christian won its second straight 3A title while Kent Denver earned the 4A championship after winning its other title in 1997. In 2A, Simla earned its third title (but first since 1987), while 6A champion Eaglecrest picked it up its third championship (first since 2017), and 1A winner McClave’s third title was its first since 2022.
Resurrection Christian and McClave won state championships in both boys and girls basketball.
