6A Boys Basketball: Sweet 16 Updates

AURORA – The Sweet 16 of the of the 2025 CHSAA 6A Boys State Tournament played out Tuesday, with eight winners advancing to the quarterfinals on Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.

The lowest-seeded team remaining is No. 9 Regis Jesuit, which edged No. 25 Grandview, 59-56. Two other contests were seven-point decisions, with No. 3 Chaparral holding off No. 19 Rock Canyon 76-69, and No. 4 Ralston Valley getting past No. 13 Denver South, 79-72.

Also Tuesday, it was No. 1 Rangeview topping No. 16 George Washington, 77-47; No. 2 Eaglecrest defeating No. 15 Arvada West, 71-61; No. 5 Valor Christian winning over No. 12 Arapahoe, 70-48; No. 6 Mountain Vista beating No. 22 Overland, 88-77; and No. 7 ThunderRidge defeating No. 10 Fruita Monument, 55-35.
