AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association's 6A Boys Basketball Tournament heated up on Saturday, with all 16 remaining playoff teams playing their second-round game.

Winners will advance to the Great 8 at the Denver Coliseum. All Great 8 games will be played on Feb. 29.

Here are the results from Saturday’s second-round games:

• No. 1 Fruita Monument vs. No. 17 Broomfield: Fruita Monument wins, 61-44 (will advance to play Eaglecrest).
• No. 2 Mountain Vista vs. No. 15 Monarch: Mountain Vista wins, 75-67 (will advance to play Smoky Hill).
• No. 3 Chaparral vs. No. 14 Legacy: Chaparral wins, 77-51 (will advance to play Valor Christian).
• No. 4 ThunderRidge vs. No. 13 Cherry Creek: ThunderRidge wins, 51-47 (will advance to play Rock Canyon).
• No. 5 Rock Canyon vs. No. 21 Arvada West: Rock Canyon wins, 58-47 (will advance to play ThunderRidge).
• No. 6 Valor Christian vs. No. 11 Doherty : Valor Christian wins, 71-47 (will advance to play Chaparral).
• No. 7 Smoky Hill vs. No. 23 Regis Jesuit: Smoky Hill wins, 70-61 (will advance to play Mountain Vista).
• No. 8 Eaglecrest vs. No. 9 Ralston Valley: Eaglecrest wins, 53-49 (will advance to play Fruita Monument).
