6A Boys Basketball: First Round Updates

AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association's 6A Boys Basketball Tournament will tip off Wednesday night, with all 32 playoff teams playing their first-round game.

Winners will advance to the second round. All second-round games will be played on Feb. 24.
 
  • No. 1 Fruita Monument vs. No. 32 Highlands Ranch: Fruita Monument wins, 55-43 (will advance to play Broomfield).
  • No. 2 Mountain Vista vs. No. 31 Fairview: Mountain Vista wins, 92-68 (will advance to play Monarch).
  • No. 3 Chaparral vs. No. 30 Rangeview: Chaparral wins, 48-45 (will advance to play Legacy).
  • No. 4 ThunderRidge vs. No. 29 Fort Collins: ThunderRidge wins, 79-44 (will advance to play Cherry Creek).
  • No. 5 Rock Canyon vs. No. 28 Rocky Mountain: Rock Canyon wins, 67-42 (will advance to play Arvada West).
  • No. 6 Valor Christian vs. No. 27 Mullen: Valor Christian wins, 70-52 (will advance to play Doherty).
  • No. 7 Smoky Hill vs. No. 26 Horizon: Smoky Hill wins, 66-57 (will advance to play Regis Jesuit).
  • No. 8 Eaglecrest vs. No. 25 Castleview: Eaglecrest wins, 59-49 (will advance to play Ralston Valley).
  • No. 9 Ralston Valley vs. No. 24 Arapahoe: Ralston Valley wins, 57-42 (will advance to play Eaglecrest).
  • No. 10 Regis Jesuit vs. No. 23 Pine Creek: Regis Jesuit wins, 75-64 (will advance to play Smoky Hill).
  • No. 11 Doherty vs. No. 22 George Washington: Doherty wins 63-44 (will advance to play Valor Christian).
  • No. 12 Douglas County vs. No. 21 Arvada West: Arvada West wins, 70-68 (will advance to play Rock Canyon).
