The first game - the first-ever consolation finals game - will be between No. 8 Smoky Hill and No. 15 Pine Creek. The championship finals will then be between No. 2 Cherry Creek and No. 5 Kent Denver.

Kent Denver, the owners of the most field hockey state championships in Colorado history - with 10, will be making its first appearance in the title game since 2017. The Sun Devils advanced to the title game eight of nine years from 1998-2006, winning seven of those games. Kent Denver won its eighth and ninth state titles in 2009 and 2011, respectively, with its most recent championship coming in 2016.
