Boys Soccer: Brackets Released for State Championships
AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released the brackets for the 2024 Boys Soccer State Championships.
A 24-team single elimination bracket has been released for 2A, while the 3A, 4A and 5A tournaments will be a 32-team single elimination bracket. The top-eight seeds will host the first and second round in 2A, with the quarterfinal round being at the higher seed. In 3A and 4A, the higher seed will host each round through the quarterfinals, while the higher seed will host the first and second round in 5A.
The semifinals and championship games for all four classifications, in addition to the 5A quarterfinals, will be hosted by CHSAA at a predetermined neutral site.
All four championship games were schedule to be played at the Switchbacks Weider Field in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 16, but the Switchbacks FC advanced to the Western Conference Finals and will host that game Saturday. Therefore, the 2A and 4A championship games were moved to Friday night at Weidner Field, at 4 and 6:30 p.m., respectively. The 3A and 5A games were moved to DICK’S Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, with the 3A game scheduled for 11 a.m. and the 5A game kicking off at 2 p.m. Live results can be found on MaxPreps through each round.
