How will I know who is competing?
- Schedules for each event will be posted CHSAANow.com, on the day of that event, before the start of the event.
- Divers: The meet director will determine the order of the divers by lot.
- Swimmers: Psych sheets will be include every swimmer that qualified for the meet, while heat sheets will be seeded and provide the lane assignments for each race.
Where can I park?
- The primary lot for this event will be the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. Parking there will be free, but it will also be limited. Spectators hoping to ensure they're able to park at the VMAC may want to arrive early.
- NOTE: RVs are not permitted to park in the VMAC parking lot.
- The overflow parking lot will be for Trail Winds Open Spaces off of Holly St.
- NOTE: If you're using overflow parking, make sure you use the Trail Winds Open Spaces parking lot, and NOT the Trail Winds Recreation Center parking lot.
- On Saturday, Feb. 11, the parking lot in front of Horizon High School will also be available for overflow parking.
How should fans conduct themselves during the event?
- Spectators are not permitted to save multiple seats as a “team spectator” area. Taping or roping off any seating area, marking with signs, blankets, or other methods will not be tolerated (security officers will be on sight to help monitor that).
- Please only engage in positive cheers.
- Only cheerleaders may use megaphones.
- All artificial noisemakers are prohibited.
- No balloons are allowed on the deck or in the stands.
- No paper banners are allowed. Each school is allowed to have one cloth or vinyl banner, but they cannot feature negative language or block the view of others, and it must be sanctioned by the site director. NOTE: Some facilities may not allow any banners.
- The stands will be cleared at the conclusion of each session. Saving seats or leaving articles behind for future sessions is not allowed.
- Spectators are not permitted to be on the state swim pool deck.
How do student-athletes qualify for the state meet?
- Every swimmer and diver who records a qualifying time or score during a regular season dual, invitational or league meet, and is certified by the area director, will be allowed to compete at the state meet.
- An individual cannot compete in more than four events at the state meet.

What happens if a student-athlete who qualified is unable to compete at state?
- If a student-athlete is unable to compete at the state meet despite qualifying, they will forfeit their position in their draw position in the meet.
How is the event scored?
- The top 20 places will be scored at the championship, with points being awarded as follows:
- Individual scoring (first to 20th): 24-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13-11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
- Relay scoring (first to 20th): 48-42-40-38-36-34-32-30-28-26-22-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2

Where can I find past champions or team winners?
- The digital program includes information on past champions, winners and more! Past champions can also be found in the championship archive.
What is the tie-breaking procedure?
- All tie breaking in the preliminary sessions would be accomplished by a swim off procedure that would, if needed, take place 20 minutes after the completion of the preliminary session. All ties in the finals session would remain tied.
Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?
- Yes. All tickets for the event will be purchased through GoFan.
- NOTE: Each ticket is only valid for attendance to one day of the event. Make sure you purchase the ticket that corresponds to the day(s) you're planning to attend.
Will there be a trophy presentation?
- Medals will be awarded for the top-10 individuals in each event, at the end of each dive session, and at the end of each event during swimming finals.
- At the conclusion of the swim finals, a team championship trophy will be awarded to the first-place team and runner-up team in each classification.
Will there be merchandise available to purchase on-site?
