Boys Basketball: State Champions Crowned on Final Day of Tournament




DENVER – All six of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s state champions were crowned Saturday on the final day of the 2024 Boys Basketball State Championship Tournaments at the Denver Coliseum.
Resurrection capped off the day with its first-ever state title, while Limon and Cheyenne Wells broke droughts of over 60 years, with Limon winning its first title since 1964 and Cheyenne Wells capturing its first since 1955. Valor Christian won its second overall, and first since 2017, Yuma won its seventh overall, and first since 2022, and Mesa Ridge defended its championship from a year ago.
