AURORA - The second round of the Colorado High School Activities Association's 2023 3A Boys Soccer State Championship Tournament was completed Tuesday night with three of the top-four seeds advancing. All eight winners of tonight's games will advance to the quarterfinals, with matches being played at the home site of the higher-seeded team on Saturday. Start times for all games can be found on

The action started with No. 15 seed Coal Ridge knocking off No. 2 seed Kent Denver, 3-2, to reach their quarterfinals matchup against No. 7 seed Frontier Academy. Frontier Academy reached the quarterfinals by defeating No. 10 seed Manitou Springs, 1-0, in double overtime.
No. 6 seed Rifle and No. 3 seed Peak to Peak will meet up in the quarterfinals after Rifle defeated No. 11 seed Fort Lupton, 2-0, and Peak to Peak got past No. 19 seed Basalt, 3-2.
On the other half of the bracket, No. 4 seed Forge Christian will host No. 12 seed DSST: Conservatory Green, as Forge Christian beat No. 13 seed KIPP Denver Collegiate, 2-1, and DSST: Conservatory Green upset No. 5 seed Arrupe Jesuit, 6-1.
No. 1 seed Colorado Academy advanced to the second round by defeating No. 17 seed Harrison, 3-0. CA will play No. 9 seed Liberty Common in the quarterfinals, as they upset No. 8 seed Roaring Fork, 1-0, in their second-round matchup.
Following the upcoming quarterfinals, the 3A semifinals will be played on Nov. 8 at the University of Northern Colorado's Jackson Stadium. The state championship finals will then be played on Nov. 11, at Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs. Tickets to the State Championship finals can be
