Cross Country Regionals Slated For Oct. 19-20

AURORA – High school cross country teams around the state of Colorado will compete next week for their chance to qualify for the 2023 Colorado High School Cross Country State Championships.

Class 2A will host four different regionals. At each regional, the top five teams, along with any individual finishing among the top 15 individuals, will automatically qualify for the state championship. Every other classification will host five different regionals, with the top four teams, along with any individual finishing inside the top 15, automatically qualifying for the state championship.

Class 5A will host regionals on Thursday and Friday, in Aurora, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Loveland and Northglenn. Class 4A will host regionals on Thursday, in Arvada, Grand Junction, Greeley, Parker and Pueblo. Class 3A will host regionals on Thursday and Friday in Colorado Springs, Denver, Greeley and Northglenn. Class 2A will host regionals on Thursday and Friday in Buena Vista, Colorado Springs, Dolores and Lyons.
