Lang’s gem lifts Front Range Christian over Longmont Christian in cross-class top-10 baseball matchup

Josh Lang threw 6 1/3 innings, allowing only three hits, as Class 2A No. 7 Front Range Christian baseball shutout 1A No. 7 Longmont Christian on Monday.

The Falcons, now 6-1 this season, won 9-0.

Lang struck out 13 in his first start of the season, and walked just two. He previously had two appearances — throwing one inning each.

At the plate, Lang was also 4-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. 

Jack Finke went 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Front Range Christian.

Longmont Christian is now 5-4 this season.
