Widefield girls basketball coach Jim Mason notches 300th win

Widefield girls basketball coach Jim Mason won the 300th game of his career on Tuesday night, eclipsing the milestone when team beat Cheyenne Mountain.

He is the 20th girls basketball coach to ever win 300 games, and has won every single one at Widefield. His 300 wins at Widefield are the ninth-most at one school.

Mason’s Gladiators beat Cheyenne Mountain 66-38 on Tuesday to improve to 4-2 this season. Charisse Fairley scored 23 points, and Aaliyah Ricketts added 15.
