Basketball's all-state voting process is open - Colorado High School Activities Association

AURORA — The ballots to select the 2015-16 all-state boys and girls basketball teams have been emailed to coaches.

They now have a week to select the teams, which are presented by CHSAANow.com, ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps.

The process for selecting the all-state teams is as follows:

Every player who was a first-team all-league selection is put on a ballot.
Head coaches are emailed the ballot, and they vote on their all-state picks. Only head coaches are permitted to vote, and each head coach only gets one vote.
The players with the most votes will be placed on the all-state teams.
There are separate voting categories for coaches to vote on player of the year, and coach of the year, in each classification.

Head coaches who didn’t receive the all-state basketball ballot in their email should email rcasey@chsaa.org as soon as possible.
