Established in 1989, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) Hall of Fame strives to honor individuals whose dedication, achievements, and impact have left a lasting mark on education-based activities in Colorado. Through this recognition, CHSAA celebrates those who embody the values of participation, sportsmanship, integrity, teamwork, respect, and excellence that define the Association’s mission and vision. CHSAA’s mission is to serve its member schools by providing equitable and diverse opportunities that foster student growth and achievement, while its vision is to create a culture that inspires all students to find their voice, connect with others, and experience the lifelong value of education-based activities.
The Hall of Fame accepts nominations in five categories: coach, significant contributor, administrator, student participant, and official/judge. These categories ensure that the many roles essential to high school activities are acknowledged, from those leading on the sidelines or in the classroom to those shaping policies, building programs, and officiating with fairness and integrity. Recognizing these individuals not only preserves their legacy but also inspires future generations to continue strengthening school communities through leadership, service, and character.
Nominations for the CHSAA Hall of Fame are accepted year-round, but to be considered for the upcoming induction class, all materials must be completed and submitted by August 1. By nominating a deserving individual, you help ensure that their contributions to Colorado’s rich tradition of education-based participation are remembered and celebrated through this prestigious honor.
