Weather Alters Playoff Schedules for Lacrosse, Soccer

AURORA — With a Winter Storm Warning in effect across Colorado Tuesday and Wednesday, the Colorado High School Activities Association is allowing schools hosting first-round girls soccer, girls lacrosse, and boys lacrosse games to reschedule contests originally set for those days.
For girls lacrosse, all of the second and quarterfinal round games have been moved back by one day to account for the weather and officials.
All dates and times will be updated on the individual brackets, with scores and next-round matchups included as they’re known.
All first-round games must be completed before the previously scheduled second round, which will be played as planned, with the exception of girls lacrosse. The 5A girls soccer and 4A boys lacrosse second rounds are set for this Friday, with the 5A boys lacrosse and 2A, 3A, and 4A girls soccer second rounds being played Saturday.
The schedule for the boys swimming, boys volleyball and girls tennis state championships have not changed.
