AURORA - Due to inclement weather and resulting school closures across the state, the Colorado High School Activities Association has moved the 5A girls lacrosse first and quarterfinal round, and 4A second and quarterfinal round games back one day.

This move helps improve playing conditions for competing teams, ensures adequate official coverage for all playoff games and allows for at least one day between all playoff rounds.  

The 5A first round games will now be played either today or tomorrow, May 6-7, with the quarterfinal round following on Saturday.

The 4A second round games will now be played this Friday, with the quarterfinal round on Monday, May 11.

All games through the quarterfinal round will be hosted by the higher seeded team. 

The state semifinals are stil set for Tuesday, May 12 (5A semifinals) and Wednesday, May 13 (4A semifinals) at Englewood High School, with both championship games on Friday, May 15 at the University of Denver's Peter Barton Stadium. 

Game dates, times and locations will be updated on the individual 4A bracket and 5A bracket as they're known.
