Boys Lacrosse: Preseason Coaches Poll Announced

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association has released its preseason coaches’ poll for boys lacrosse.
Defending champion Cherry Creek, as well as runner-up Valor Christian, are the preseason co-No. 1 teams in 5A, while in 4A 2025 runner-up Air Academy is the preseason No. 1, ahead of second-ranked defending champion Dakota Ridge.
This is the only coaches’ poll that will be conducted by CHSAA for boys lacrosse this season. Throughout the season, CHSAA will publicize the Seedings Index as a weekly ranking for boys lacrosse. Those rankings will start once there are enough games played to populate a ranking (approximately week 3 or 4).
The boys lacrosse regular season starts starts March 5 and runs through May 2. Postseason play starts May 5 for 4A and May 6 for 5A, with the semifinals and finals for both classes set for May 16 and May 18 at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium.
