AURORA -- The CHSAA 2A Football State Playoffs quarterfinals started with one game Friday and three more to follow on Saturday.

On Friday, No. 2 Wellington defeated No. 7 Resurrection Christian 42-12.

The state championship for 2A will be played at the CSU Thunderbowl in Pueblo on Nov. 29, with kickoff at 5 p.m.
