AURORA -- The quarterfinalists for CHSAA's 5A State Football Playoffs have been determined following eight second-round games played Friday.

The top six seeds all advanced with victories, and the only game that results in a win for a team outside the top eight was No. 10 Mullen's 21-18 victory over No. 7 Pine Creek.

The 5A state championship game will be played Saturday, Dec. 6 at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins. It will be the third championship game of the day, following the 3A game at 10 a.m. and the 4A game at 1:30 p.m.
