Esports: Spring State Champions Crowned

LAKEWOOD – All three of the spring Esports State Championships were awarded Thursday at Localhost. The day started with the inaugural Unified Esports State Championship being awarded in Mario Kart, followed by the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe champions being crowned.

Smoky Hill won the Unified Esports title, while George Washington captured the Super Smash Bros. championship and Highlands Ranch capped the day by taking home the Mario Kart championship. Rangeview finished runner-up in the unified event, while Douglas County took second in Super Smash Bros. and Brighton earned the second-place trophy in Mario Kart.
