AURORA – The second round of the Esports State Championships for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was played out Monday afternoon and the Round 3 matchups have been set. The four winners of Wednesday afternoon’s Round 3 games – all at 4 p.m. – will advance to Localhost on Thursday, April 24 for the in-person semifinals.
Semifinal games will be at 2 p.m., followed by the finals at 5 p.m.
The Esports State Championships for Unified Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will also take place at Localhost on April 24. The inaugural unified championship will be played at 10:30 a.m., while the fourth-annual Super Smash Bros. Ultimate championship will be at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Trophy and award presentations will take place immediately after each final.
