AURORA - Due to the threat of inclement weather and rain forecasted in Pueblo this weekend, the Colorado High School Activities Association has made changes to the 4A Boys Tennis Individual State Championships at Pueblo City Park.
 
The tournament – originally scheduled for three days – will be shortened to two; Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s schedule will remain the same with the first and quarterfinal round matches, while Friday’s schedule would be extended to include the championship finals and third place matches. Saturday’s play would then be cancelled.
 
If the rain moves in quicker than anticipated on Friday, there is the possibility that playbacks may be eliminated to ensure the tournament is completed. 

All times below are approximate, as play will begin in succession, as soon as courts become available.
 
Thursday Schedule
9 a.m. – First Round
Immediately after - Quarterfinal Round
 
Friday Schedule
8:30 a.m. – Semifinal Round
Immediate after – First Round Playbacks
Immediately after the 30-min rest break – Second Round Playbacks
2 p.m. (approximately) – Finals Matches
3 p.m. (approximately) – Third Place Matches
 
Saturday Schedule
Cancelled
