Spring Esports State Champions Crowned in Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart
LAKEWOOD – Both of the spring Esports State Championships were awarded Thursday at Localhost. The day started with Governor Jared Polis – a lifelong gamer – stopping by to wish all of the teams good luck.
As the day went on, Grandview captured the first title of the day, winning Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Mountain Vista finished runner up. The day concluded with Pueblo West winning the Mario Kart championship and Rocky Mountain finishing as the state’s runner-up.
