AURORA – The semifinal round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 5A Football Playoffs for the 2023 State Championships has been completed. Live scores for next round can be found on MaxPreps and select games will be streamed on the NFHS network.

In the last semifinal 5A football game, top seed Cherry Creek came back from down 14-7 to beat No. 5 Ralston Valley 21-14. The win continues the pursuit of their fifth-straight football state championship and 14th overall.
The first of two 5A football semifinal games was played on Friday night, as No. 2 seed Columbine kept their undefeated season alive by defeating No. 14 seed Chatfield 35-16. Through three quarters, it was a tight 14-10 contest, but the Rebels pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Chatfield 21-6 in the final period.
