AURORA – The semifinal round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 3A Football Playoffs for the 2023 State Championships has been completed. Live scores for next round can be found on MaxPreps and select games will be streamed on the NFHS network.

In the first 3A football semifinal, No. 1 Green Mountain’s undefeated campaign came to an end against No. 5 Lutheran. Lutheran scored 20 unanswered points to come back from a 21-7 deficit to win, 27-20. Lutheran will advance to the state championship game where it will attempt to win its first-ever football state title.
In the state championship, Lutheran will meet league foe Holy Family. No. 2 seed Holy Family reached the state championship by defeating No. 3 Thompson Valley, 21-7. They will be competing for their third football state title and their first since 2005
