AURORA – The semifinal round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 1A Football Playoffs for the 2023 State Championships have been completed. Live scores can be found on MaxPreps and select games will be streamed on the NFHS Network.

CHSAA’s 2023 1A Football State Championship Game will be a matchup between No. 1 Limon and No. 6 Strasburg. Limon punched their ticket with a 28-7 victory over No. 4 Meeker. Meanwhile, Strasburg won a thrilling matchup with No. 7 Wray, 28-27, as Wray’s late two-point conversion attempt was unsuccessful.
Limon is looking for its fifth football state title in six seasons and its 22nd football title in school history — by far the most of any CHSAA school. On the other hand, Strasburg is attempting to capture its fifth football state championship and its third in the past eight seasons.
