2A Football: Week 2 Playoff Results

AURORA – Week 2 of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2A Football Playoffs for the 2023 State Championships are now completed. Live scores can be found on MaxPreps and select games will be streamed on the NFHS Network.

To start the second round of CHSAA’s 2A Football Playoffs, No. 1 Delta defeated No. 9 The Classical Academy in an incredibly close game, 16-14, as they scored a safety in the final minute of action to pull in front. In the next round, they will play No. 12 Moffat County, who defeated No. 4 Berthoud thanks to a failed point-after-try on Berthoud’s second touchdown.
On the other half of the bracket, No. 3 Rifle pulled away with a 14-0 third quarter to defeat No. 6 University, 35-28, and punch their ticket to the semifinals. In the semifinals, they will play No. 10 Eaton. Eaton advanced thanks to a tight 17-14 win over No. 15 Pagosa Springs.
