Volleyball Brackets Unveiled for Regional Championships

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association has announced the brackets for the 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A Girls Volleyball Regional Championships.

• Valor Christian earned the No. 1 seed in the 5A bracket after going 23-0 in the regular season.
• Lewis-Palmer received the No. 1 seed in the 4A bracket, thanks to a 21-2 record in the regular season.
• Platte Valley earned the No. 1 seed in the 3A bracket, posting a 18-5 regular season record.
• Wiggins earned the No. 1 seed in the 2A bracket, with a 19-4 regular season record.
• Merino received the No. 1 seed in the 1A bracket, thanks to a 22-1 regular season record.

The regional rounds will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3-4.

All 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A regionals will have three teams and a total of three matches will be played, while 1A will be two teams and one match. All regional winners will automatically earn a berth to the State Chamionship bracket, which will be released on Monday, Nov. 6. The State Champioships will then occur Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 9-11 at Denver Coliseum.
