Boys lacrosse: 2023 CHSAA 4A and 5A state championships set for Monday night




>AURORA – The 4A and 5A boys lacrosse state championship matches are set for Monday night at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
Top-seeded Cheyenne Mountain knocked off No. 5 Evergreen, 10-7, in the semifinals Friday night, while No. 2 Erie got past No. 3 Dakota Ridge, 14-9. Cheyenne Mountain and Erie will take the field first at 5 p.m. Watch the game live on the NFHS Network.
In 5A, No. 5 Mountain Vista upset top-seeded Cherry Creek, 12-11, in the semifinals to advance to the title game, while No. 2 Valor Christian held off No. 3 Regis Jesuit, 13-7, to advance. Mountain Vista and Valor Chrisian will play in the second game, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Watch the game live on the NFHS Network.
All tickets are digital and must be purchased through GoFan, no cash sales will be made on site. Tickets are $12 and are good for both games. All 2022-2023 CHSAA Cards and Passes will be accepted (courtesy cards, media cards, etc.). It’s encouraged that you purchase tickets in advance to bypass long lines.
Both championship games are being played at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. The stadium is located at 2240 Buchtel Blvd S., Denver, 80210.
The 4A game begins at 5 p.m. on Monday. The 5A game will follow that, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
