CHSAA offers another opportunity to recognize individual accomplishment
When you think about CHSAA championships there are the competitors, the energy of the crowd, the spirit brought by student section and the raising of the championship trophy. This year, CHSAA will be giving the latter a small (no pun intended) boost.
The individual championship and runner-up personal trophy can be purchased for $39.95 each (plus shipping and handling). There is an option to personalize your trophy for an additional $4.
“The personal trophies are a great way for individuals to commemorate their team accomplishment,” assistant commissioner Rashaan Davis said. “It’s a significant accomplishment to bring a championship to your school, in any of our activities, but to now be able to own a smaller likeness of what your team has given your school, that’s the gift that keeps on giving.”
Beginning this year, CHSAA is introducing personal championship and runner-up trophies for individuals on those championship or runner-up teams to purchase. These personal trophies can be purchased by logging on to the CHSAA website.
Each personal trophy takes 2-3 weeks to be produced and shipped.
