Rashaan Davis is an Assistant Commissioner for the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), where he oversees esports, music, speech and debate, and student leadership programs. Since joining CHSAA in 2021, he has focused on expanding participation opportunities and elevating the role of activities across Colorado schools. He also supports statewide initiatives that promote student engagement, leadership, and belonging.
Prior to CHSAA, Davis spent more than 20 years in public education as a teacher and campus administrator. He taught social studies and leadership while working to help students develop their voice and sense of purpose. His experience includes roles at Highlands Ranch High School, Eaglecrest High School, and Smoky Hill High School, where he built programs and supported both students and staff.
Davis has been actively involved at the state and national levels, serving as a speaker at leadership conferences and contributing to the growth of student activities programs. He has helped lead large-scale events, including hosting national student leadership conferences in Colorado. His work has earned national recognition, including the 2023 Western Region Earl Reum Award for his impact on student activities and leadership.
He is passionate about creating inclusive environments where all students can find connection and belonging through activities.
