Girls lacrosse state tournament bracket released

The 2019 girls lacrosse state tournament bracket has been released. The seeding committee met Monday morning to finalize the seeds and matchups.

Defending champion Colorado Academy enters the tournament as the top overall seed after completing a perfect regular season. The Mustangs are placed in Quadrant 1 as the top seed.

Other top seeds in the tournament include Cherry Creek, Pine Creek and Aspen.

The state tournament will begin with first round games on Wednesday. The second round will be played on Saturday with quarterfinal games taking place on May 15.

Action will then move to DU where the semifinals will be played on Saturday May 18 and the season will conclude on the 22nd.
