Thank you for your interest in becoming a basketball official. The season is right around the corner, and it's the perfect time to get involved with this great game. Officiating is a wonderful way to stay involved in the game, give back to the community, and make a few bucks as well. Plus, there's nothing like being on the floor challenging yourself, learning the rules of the game, and developing long and lasting friendships with your fellow officials. Thanks for expressing interest in beginning an exciting career as a high school basketball official. Welcome and we hope you will join us! Below you'll find the steps necessary to get going.

How To Become a Basketball Official:
-Colorado certifies high school basketball officials through the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO). In order to officiate, you will need to take and pass the IAABO certification exam. 
-Once you have registered and paid for the course, the next steps in the process will be provided to you. The course registration fee includes a rules book, and access to the online course which will assist you in passing the online exam, and covers your membership dues for this season.
