AURORA - The first round 2026 5A Girls Soccer State Championships was completed Thursday, after Tuesday's snow forced seven games to be either suspended or postponed.

The second round is scheduled for Friday.

There were several upsets, including No. 27 Chatfield knocked off No. 6 Legacy 2-0, No. 24 Regis Jesuit scoring a 1-0 win over No. 9 Broomfield, No. 21 Cherokee Trail taking down No. 12 Horizon 2-1, and No. 18 ThunderRidge topping No. 15 Denver East, 1-0.

Other top games saw No. 13 Valor Christian advance on penalty kicks against No. 20 Denver South, and No. 4 Pine Creek defeating No. 29 Heritage 2-1.

Second round games will be played on Friday, May 8 and will be hosted by the higher-seeded team.
