DENVER - The championship matchups for the 2026 Boys Lacrosse State Championship games have been set.

The two games – the 4A and 5A title games – will be played at Peter Barton Stadium on Monday. The first game will be at 5 p.m., and will pit No. 2 Evergreen vs. No. 9 Cheyenne Mountain in the 4A final, while No. 1 Valor Christian and No. 2 Cherry Creek will play at 7:30 p.m. for the 5A championship.

No. 2 Evergreen advanced to the 4A final by squeaking by No. 3 Grand Junction, 10-9, Saturday, while No. 9 Cheyenne Mountain upset No. 5 Lutheran, 10-5, to advance. Cheyenne Mountain will be playing for its fifth overall title and first since winning three-straight from 2021-23. The Red-Tailed Hawks' first championship came in 2018. Meanwhile, Evergreen will be looking for its first-ever title.

In the 5A bracket, No. 1 Valor Christian and No. 2 Cherry Creek will meet in the title game for the second-straight season. Last year, Cherry Creek came away with an 11-8 win for its eighth title and first since capturing three from 2015-19. Valor will be looking for its first championship since winning in 2024. The Eagles have three state titles in their program's history, as they won back-to-back in 2016-17.

This year, Valor advanced to the final by knocking off No. 4 Arapahoe, 12-2, while Cherry Creek used a 14-9 victory over No. 3 Regis Jesuit to move on to the championship game.
