Lacrosse: Postseason Play Continues in Boys, Girls Tournaments

AURORA -- Postseason play continued this weekend in both the Boys and Girls Lacrosse State Championships, with 5A games being played.

The top eight seeds in the 5A boys tournament won to reach the quarterfinals, while the 5A girls tournament has reached the semifinals with four of the top six advancing.

In 4A, the top seven boys teams have made the quarterfinals, while the top eight seeds in the girls field are in the quarterfinal round.

Next up are the 4A girls quarterfinals on Monday, followed by the 5A girls semifinals aand 4A boys quarterfinals on Tuesday and the 5A boys quarterfinals on Wednesday.

The semifinals and finals of the boys tournament will be played at Peter Barton Stadium at the University of Denver.

On Saturday, May 16, the 4A boys semifinals are at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and will be followed by the 5A semifinals at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets for the boys semifinals are available here. The boys championship games are Monday, May 18, with the 4A game at 5 p.m. and the 5A game at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available.

The girls' semifinals are at Englewood High School. The 5A semifinals are Tuesday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with the 4A semifinals on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available for the semifinals through GoFan for 5A and 4A.

The girls' championship games are Friday and will be played at Peter Barton Stadium. The 4A game is at 5 p.m., and the 5A game follows at 7:30. Tickets are available.
