AURORA – The Great 8, the quarterfinal round of the 6A and 5A boys and girls CHSAA Basketball State Championships, will take place Friday and Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.
 
The game times for Friday's 6A boys quarterfinals have been determined and posted below. Game times for Friday's 6A girls and for Saturday's 5A boys and girls games will be announced Thursday.

Tickets for the Great 8 are available on axs.com, and are $12 for adults or $9 for students (K-12) and seniors (60+), plus service fees. One ticket is good for all four games in that particular session. Parking is $15, or $12.50 online (axs.com) in advance, and the parking entrance is on the south side of the coliseum.
 
Eight games will be played each day, with two four-game sessions: one beginning at 8:45 a.m., the other at 4 p.m.
 
Denver Coliseum has specified reserved seating for all sessions.
 
Artificial noisemakers are prohibited. This includes cow bells, thunder sticks, air horns, amplified instruments, drums, whistles, megaphones, bleacher kicking and other disruptive noisemakers, as per CHSAA and National Federation basketball rules. Balloons are not allowed.
 
Cameras are permitted at all sites. Media cameras with a flash are prohibited at all venues. Handheld video cameras are permitted at all sites. Tripod equipment is not permitted in the stands.
 
On Friday, 6A teams will play, starting with the first girls quarterfinal game at 8:45 a.m. and wrapping up with the fourth boys quarterfinal game, scheduled for 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, 5A teams will play, with the same time schedule.

The games will be streamed on the NFHS Network.
 
Winners advance to the semifinals next weekend, March 12-14, also at the Denver Coliseum.
